When I changed from 5.x to 6.3 and got the new license file from Remedy
I renamed the existing file, copied in the new file, and then started
the server. The Upgraded file from Remedy has both the 5.1 keys and the
6.3 keys in it so it will work on both.

Hi Howard,

The problem is that I'm supposed to upgrade the license through the
admin tool but as the server is down, I can proceed anymore with this
license upgrade... I'm wondering if I can replace directly the old
"arsystem.lic" with the new one ? the new one contain reference to the
two sets of license key, so should I remove one of them ?

Thanks

Regards

Pascal

Pascal,

If the server is not licensed and you have more then 1k records, which
could be causing the error you are seeing

I think you need to get that new 6.3 server licensed.
