Hello ARSList,
This is my first e-mail to this list but I have been monitoring it awhile for now. Yesterday I bought a new machine and installed Windows Vista Ultimate, 64-bit onto it. Today I installed SQL Server 2005 with Service Pack 2 on it, and now I started installing ARS 7.1. Everything wend fine. Then I logged in with Demo user, to add licenses to the server. However the strangest thing happens. Each time my computer reboots, the "Current Host ID" field changes. It also contains an ID I do not recognize. As in, it is not one of the MAC addresses of my network card. This is very annoying because I *just* wend to the support site to request a trial license, and now this license I can no longer use. I cannot go to the support site, requesting a license each time I reboot my computer ?!? :-| Does anyone have maybe any idea what is going on?
