How are you doing the PERFORM-ACTION-SAVE-ATTACHMENT? What syntax are
you using?

Subject: Attachment problem...urgent!
Importance: High

**
Hello Listers,

I have an application here in the organisation which has a .NET console
integrated with Remedy back-end tables. Let me explain the situation.

The .NET console inserts records in a staging form. It is also possible
to add files as attachments from the front-end. The .NET screen is
passing the path of the attachment to my remedy staging form in a char
field. We are storing the files in a shared directory/location which is
not the same as remedy box. Now I've written a filter which senses that
as soon as the attachment path is not null in the staging form, then it
should push the value of the attachment path to another char field in an
another intermediate attachment form. There is an attachment pool in the
intermediate form and I've written a filter which has 'Run Process' in
the if-action 'PERFORM-ACTION-ADD-ATTACHMENT. However this bit is
failing and although the path is being set correctly, it is not able to
perform the 'Run Process' action and hence not attaching the files.

I'm in a fix now since I don't know what I'm missing here and whether
theoritically also what I'm trying to do is correct or not.

Can anyone help me out with this? It's really urgent now and have not
been able to get it working since some time now.

We are on ARS6.3, Sybase 12.5 and Sun OS 5.8.

Thanks.

Warm Regards,

Nisha Ramtri
