They would do better just to admit defeat..
Engineering has no ability to make a good migration tool.. They just cannot
do it..

Oh, you could try 7.1 but it is probably not compatible with anything but
future versions..
I know you cannot use 6.X with 5.X or 7.X with 5.X either..

I have so much faith in the 7.1 migrator.. I have not even looked at it..
yet I pay for it..
