The CMDB 2.1.0 installer also has a defect when attempting to upgrade 2.0.1.003 on ARS 7.1 - it actually tries to install 2.0.1.004 during the 2.1.0 upgrade process, but hangs before completion. I am waiting on a fix for the 2.1.0 installer now.
