Roger,

I don't have the AREA LDAP configuration form setup.
Just the Cross Reference Blank Passwords checked in the admin tool.
Does that mean I am querying anonymously?

I DO have the ARDBC LDAP config form populated. That is so I can use a
Vendor form against the AD but that was put in place long after we
started using blank password checks.
Thanks,

** It uses the Login and Password in the AREA LDAP form to confirm that
the Users credentials are valid.

Subject: Anonymous query of the Active Directory

Hello Listers.

ARS 6.3
MS SQL 2000

I have been asked if the ARSystem Cross Reference Blank Password
settings queries the Active Directory anonymously or with the user's
credentials?

My thinking is that it will use what ever I have the services to 'run
as'.
Am I right?
Thanks,
