Just to confirm.... Did you really mean ARS v3.1?
I am not sure if v3 actually used _only one_ TCP port. I think it might have used one TCP port per RPC queue that it spawned. ( If memory serves, you could tell the server at what TCP port to start at, but it incremented by plus one for the next RPC queue from there.)
