I normally troll the arslist look for my answers and move one. But this time I have to ask for help.
Problem 1. The issue I'm having is with SSO. Everything works. However, when my users create/update tickets, it consistently takes 100 seconds to complete or I get a timeout (ARERR 92). Selecting tickets, search menus, etc, responds as expected. This is the implementation. All the server application components reside on seperate systems. ARS 6.3p21 on Win 2k3 r2 Remote Oracle 9i, Solaris MidTier 7.0.1p4 on Win2k3 r2 with IIS/ApacheTomcat5.5/Java 5 (1.5) Email Engine 6.3p21 on 2k3 r2 I have a system with ServletExec 5.0, but I get the same results. When SSO is not implemented, everything works great. We are running a test soon with appropriate logs turned on and oracle dba watching the database, just in case. Problem 2. When I use the isapi_redirect.dll provided by BMC installation package, as soon as users begin accessing MidTier, the CPU is spinning up to 100%. It appears to be in some kind of loop. I/O byte count continuous go up until I restart IIS. When I got the isapi_redirect.dll from Apache Tomcat, no problem. The version supplied by BMC is 1.2.14, whereas the latest from Apache Tomcat is 1.2.25. Any real reason not to stay with 1.2.25? BTW, Problem 1 occurs regardless of Problem 2. Thanks for taking the time to read this. ==Mac _______________________________________________________________________________ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at www.arslist.org ARSlist:"Where the Answers Are"
