You generally need to do a set fields and set the view to $DEFAULT$ to
get it to display. Whether a URL or text entered in the field, that
should get it going.

The are no files being reference, only the text that I have mentioned.

You did however jog my memory and I found a set fields that I used. Like
I said, one of those things that was so simple, I shouldn't have taken
it public.

Thanks.

Kind Regards,

Does the user have sufficient permissions to the file that you want to
set to your view field?

What happens when you try to set it to that field?

        Hi All,

I have got what is probably going to turn out to be a simple
problem, but the resolution is eluding me at present.

I created a view field with a simple bit of html text. The field
has public permissions only. The text is - <marquee
behavior="alternate">Place your text here</marquee>. On my dev box, it
works perfectly but in production not. Anyone have any ideas.

        Our setup:-

        OS - Win 2000 Server SP4

        AR - V6.3 Patch 22

        Kind Regards,
