Manjari, We have a custom built app for our help desk. We have a table like what Mike White described. What happens is folks enter a word or phrase in a description field and trigger an Active Link by pressing the enter key. The workflow retrieves matching records from a lookup description field in the table. After picking what looks right, the Active Link sets our Category, SubCategory, and Topic fields. If appropriate the workflow sets the Priority, Call Type, Support Group, our Details fields with questions if the record contains questions and fills in the Resolution if it is a standard resolution. My dilemma is, these fields right now is a text field. How can I convert this into a selection field without changing the data that is already in the database.
