**

Simon,

Here is how I did it here.

Make a backup of these two files on your mid tier server.

C:\Program Files\AR System\Mid-Tier\WEB-INF\classes\
LocalizedMessages.properties

C:\Program Files\AR
System\Mid-Tier\WEB-INF\classes\LocalizedMessages_en.properties

Open these two files in a text editor and change the text for error
number 9388. For example, 9388 = The user name and password do not
match

Run IISRESET in a command window on the mid tier server.

Subject: Mid-Tier LoginServlet return errors

Hi All,

I have implemented an AREA plug-in and modified the login.jsp page of
Mid-Tier to do some automated logging in.

What I would like to do now is replace the current message returned by
the LoginServlet when the login fails. Currently I get the following...

"The following error(s) occurred while trying to process your request:

ARERR [9388]
Authentication failed"

But I would like to have a custom message instead. Does anyone know if
this can be done?

Cheers

Si
