Hi Michiel,

Ok that may be the case but without allowing the user to specify the
filename in a field it is a bit tricky doing a couple of processes on
the resultant file and making sure that it is generated as a csv. (The
type of file that Remedy generates depends on the extension specified).
It is not much trouble doing it as a macro I guess but it does make it a
little bit harder to maintain and it won't work too well on web clients.
Perhaps this is for the better. Maybe if I could get more control over
the way Remedy plain text reports look I wouldn't have to do the extra
processing.

I guess that's because it is not considered to be good practice that
an application creates files on end-user's pc's without giving them
control on the file name and location?
