workflow to "walk" a table field" (pg 659)
But I do not know that you can select multiple rows with this approach.

What I would suggest you do is add a Display only column that you
"mark" with a value. Then later re-walk the table and look for the
"marked records" and "do the right thing" instead of just looping over
the selected records.  (Which is a similar effect, and also likely
better ADA compliant too.)
