Hello All, Can anyone provide me with some advice on upgrading from 6.3 to 7.0? I am not sure exactly what steps to take to do this. I did find a thread with the comment "Only BMC and its consulting partners can take the class that shows how to install and configure the ITSM 7 applications," was wondering if there was any truth to that as we are not a bmc partner.
Can anyone point me to a document/share a link relevant to upgrading ARS from 6.3 to 7.0? Or does anyone have a list of steps to take to accomplish this goal they could share? I dug around the bmc support site for about half an hour and couldnt find anything relevant other than just an installation guide. What about existing customizations? Is it possible to export them to a .def file, upgrade to 7, then perform regression testing to ensure all still works well? Or am I way off here? Please excuse the ramble, I just feel a tad lost, and it's Friday.
