Rahul, By default, the User Tool will open the "Init-Form:" (I think case matters) as a "hidden window" (The user will not see the form, but Window Open workflow will be triggered.)
However, I do not think this solution will work for your Mid-Tier users. So you likely also need to setup User Preference records and set the date formats in those records too. (So that the Mid-Tier can be configured to use the preference server and the User tool can use the preference server AND/OR the "Init-Form:".) BTW: Does anyone know if the v7.1 Mid-tier supports the "Init-Form:"? (I have not gone looking/testing for that detail yet.)
