Whoa Axton, The value of a keyword is indeed maintained in some session data but that value is a single value and it would still be used like any other value for any sql statement passed to the db. That is the value held in that session variable, being of a particular case, would be substituted in the sql string being built and then passed on to the db to execute. Leaving it still up to the db to decide on case sensitivity. Is it early across the pond? :) Cheers Ben
