Just add a field for Geo-Location in addition to any other "Location" type fields. If you plan to go to ITSM you will have to do it with more strict constraints.
Again, even on a custom system, you may have issues with people who criss-cross different Geo areas. An example may be a manager which needs to be able to access both North and South. My rule of thumb has always been to make sure the field is 3rd Normal Relational Form. In other words it is only updated in one and only one place. Gordon M.
