First a caveat - I do not use ITSM7/CMDB and am not familiar with its inner workings. It looks to me as though the CMDB application is in a deployable application and the message is saying that permissions must be assigned through Roles, rather than through regular groups. If this is the case, create a new Role for the CMDB application in the Roles form (it will need you to allocate it a negative role ID). Then map your existing permissions group to the Role you have created in the record in the Role form. Finally, add the Role ID (the negative number) to the permissions for your new attributes.
