Michael, that password I believe is for the ARAdmin account. I went
through this awhile back, and they also changed my ARAdmin account
password.

>From what I understand, the ARSystem just uses SA to create the ARAdmin
account. From that point on, it uses the ARAdmin account.

If your DBAs or Security people change the ARAdmin account, then you
simply update it via the admin tool that you list below. Remedy will
instantly pick up the new change.

Please, anyone, if any of this is incorrect, then please correct me, but
I believe that what I stated above was true.

Thanks,

Subject: Changing SA passwords

**

Listers,

A couple of our servers were identified in a scan the other
day as having "weak" sa passwords for SQL Server. We've been told to
change them, but I want to be sure that it's not going to stop AR System
from functioning correctly. I imagine there's a setting for the sa
password somewhere, as they ask for it during a server install, but I'm
not sure where it's located. Is it the database password field in the
admin tool? (Server information > Database)

Thanks,
