CCM Calendar is a ticking time bomb on ARS 7.1 - any version from beta to Patch 001. Trying to manipulate the calendar is guaranteed to crash the mid-tier tomcat instance. Support _finally_ found a fix for it in early February - you have to use the *70* files (dlls in my case) from 7.0.1 patch 6 in the <mid-tier-install-dir>/WEB-INF/lib directory instead of the ones that are installed by 7.1. If you have the misfortune of sharing tomcat with other apps, or have more than one tomcat instance on the server, you may have to "separate" them in terms of which dlls are shared by other apps - I found that the Kinetic Request 4.0.3.1 web would not work with the patch 006 dlls, only earlier versions, but you probably don't have the path problems I have on Windows servers. I know this fixes CCM Calendar on Windows; you will have to see if it helps in your environment.
