Hi Mike

You can use an active link Change Field action on the field to set the menu
to $NULL$ when you want to hide the menu, and set it back to the menu you
want when the menu should appear. In v7 this makes the menu arrow disappear
(this did not do this in earlier versions)

Subject: Menu display

**

Hello List

I have this unique requirement from my manager and I am not able to find
anything in the ARS guides. I hope someone on the list can answer this.

I have a character field with a menu. I want the field to be visible always
but the menu icon should be displayed only on a certain conditions. Is this
feasible?

Environment: ARS 7, SQL Server 2005, Home Grown App

Thanks in advance

Mike
