Hi Mike
You can use an active link Change Field action on the field to set the menu to $NULL$ when you want to hide the menu, and set it back to the menu you want when the menu should appear. In v7 this makes the menu arrow disappear (this did not do this in earlier versions) HTH David Sanders Remedy Solution Architect Enterprise Service Suite @ Work ========================== ARS List Award Winner 2005 Best 3rd party Remedy Application See the <http://www.westoverconsulting.co.uk/downloads/ESS_Concepts_Guide.pdf> ESS Concepts Guide tel +44 1494 468980 mobile +44 7710 377761 email [EMAIL PROTECTED] web http://www.westoverconsulting.co.uk <http://www.westoverconsulting.co.uk/> _____ From: Action Request System discussion list(ARSList) [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Michael Gere Sent: Monday, March 03, 2008 6:12 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Menu display ** Hello List I have this unique requirement from my manager and I am not able to find anything in the ARS guides. I hope someone on the list can answer this. I have a character field with a menu. I want the field to be visible always but the menu icon should be displayed only on a certain conditions. Is this feasible?
