Here is the one I use. It's pretty basic. It checks for DROP, Drop, or
drop in the sql statement. I've also added clear buttons for the sql
query field, and for the result field.

Thanks,

It's not a BMC/Remedy product - someone wrote it and posted it to the
old Remedy Community site - it was there for a very long time.

Granted - it is pretty easy to write one.

I never knew they provided this. I always wrote one myself.

Just do a display only form, two unlimited length character fields.

The first field is where you put your query. Add a button that does a
set fields on the second field from SQL.

Viola!

Also, put a view form out on top of arschema to save you from
constructing a select name, schemaid from arschema where name = "blah"
all the time.

Thanks,

It was a little DEF file that contained a form called "SQL form" and
some active links. It just let you do simple SQL from a Remedy
display-only window. I don't know who developed it but it was a nice
end-run around environments where you don't have direct access to
database and want to do some queries (like checking what form the "T"
number was in SQL logs)

On my "to do" list was to write an updated version of it....might have
to bump that up a few notches...

I used to be able to find the SQL form whenever I needed/wanted
it on the old website (before the BMC Dev Network site).

Does anyone know where it lives? I can't find it....which could
just be a case of the Mondays....
