There was a change to enum in 5.12 in that the values can be as they were (0,1,2...), or set arbitrarily (1000, 2000, 3000), or queried (though the third option has never been used by BMC and the Admin tool does not support it). ITSM 7 makes generous use of this. I expect that that is your problem. If so, then there is no workaround. 5.0 simply can't understand this and I am not sure what the 5.0 ape will do with field types (or attributes) defined in future releases except to ignore those types of fields (such as this type of enum or currency fields).
I would expect that if your enum is of the old type (0,1,2...) that the 5.0 WUT should continue to work.
