We just installed ITSM 7.0.3 (change management module). We already have BMC fundation and topology discovery populating the CMDB (2.1) with configuration items. BMC discovery categorizes all configuration items discovered and insert that categorization in the attributes Category, Type, Item of the CMDB forms. Now that we installed change management, I realized that the ITSM foundation product catalog is importing that data for the Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 categorization. Is there an option in ITSM to avoid this import? I prefer to have our own product categorization instead the one BMC Discovery uses.
