the DevStudio would be out?

Dev Studio is part of AR System, so it will follow the same schedules as
AR System.

Let me say that again, because I can't stress this enough. Dev Studio
is not its own product. It will not be sold, distributed or productized
separately from AR System. It is, quite literally, a replacement for
Admin Tool and thus will be part of AR System in the same way that Admin
Tool was/is part of AR System.

Information on how to sign up for the open beta will be made available
once we get closer to the beta itself.

While we are on this topic, any idea when the newer beta release of the
DevStudio would be out? And how it may be possible to get a copy of it
to try it out? I believe from what I read the newer beta release will
have the capability to edit flashboard field related objects like alarm,
variables etc..

Would be cool to get a hand on that copy whenever it is out especially
if they have a beta program on it..

As long as they don't plan on making Duke Nukem Forever* based on the
ARS platform, we'll be ok.

* Duke Nukem Forever is a sequel to a popular video game that has been
promised to be released for over ten years, and each year the company
issues a press release stating that it is going to be released very
soon. It has won several vaporware awards, yet the software publisher
keeps telling us it will be released rather than admitting that they are
not going to release it.

As long as it doesn't make the top 15 vaporware list, I'll be glad :-)

Was notifiied about a bug fix today, in 7.5 Q4.

Let's see ... didn't we used to make bets for release dates here?

I'm throwing in Q2 09 *g*

Hi,

I got an email from support today that still said Q4 2008...

If the official release plan has moved forward or backwards, I think
that
they should inform their own people about it at least.
