Hi,
I just got some additional information from Doug Mueller.
Apparently, the Web Services of version 7.0 and earlier of the Mid-Tier,
it did not do a logout after each call. Consequently, you would have to
wait for a timeout on a FLOATING license.
In version 7.1 it does perform a logout, but there is an option to NOT
logout if you want to keep your license token between Web Service calls.
