Hello Listers,
ARS 6.03 Patch 014

I am trying to test the Web Service feature of the AR System. I looked
through the archives for some enlightenment but the problem I'm having
doesn't seem to show up. I even found an old post of my own that was
similar in scope but that project never progressed past the initial
failed attempt. So now I am thrown back into the web services mix.

I tried creating a Web Service and then a filter to consume it on a
separate form (same server).
I get an the following dialog box:

ARERR [9130] An exception occurred from the Web Service class : ; nested
exception is:
        javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException:
sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: No trusted certificate found

The Midtier server is IIS with SSL turned on and running ServletExec.

I thought that since the web service, the filter and the two forms were
on the same server I shouldn't have any connection issues.

I tried setting the -Dhttp.proxy entries in the Admin Tool as suggested
on the ARSList.
I'm not sure if that helped in any way. I still cannot get past this
error.
The ARPlugin log has these lines:
<FINE> About to invoke
<FINE> javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException:
sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: No trusted certificate found
-CALL FAIL

I can see that it has to do with the certificate yet I can view the WSDl
in a browser and in the admin tool.

Any help is appreciated.
TIA,
