I just installed Altiris Workflow Solution onto a desktop and was looking to utilize the Remedy Connector Generator to see if I can pull the data from a form and load the data to a data element in Altiris.
It immediately asked for ARAPI.NET to be installed and I was able to download the files for 7.1 .NET from the developers website and register the BMC.ARSystem.dll file successfully. However, when I try to setup the connection using the Remedy Connector in Altiris it seems it will not allow me to enter in a TCP port which is what I need to connect to our Remedy server. Is there anyone who has experience using the Remedy Connector to connect to the Remedy system via the ARAPI for 7.1 or has determine some other way of integrating using Altiris? We currently have ITSM 7.02 loaded on a AR System 7.01 server.
