I have the same setup with laptop and sometime Remedy goes crazy and the only way I can fix it is editing the ar.ini. Make sure all the instance of Remedy is closed. Find the ar.ini and look for the line called placement. Set to 0,0 and see if this helps Hope this helps. After the upgrade was complete I did not notice anything wrong with Remedy. But now after I restarted my laptop the object list no longer shows up. This in turn causes the user tool to completely freeze. I have uninstalled and re-installed the user tool to no avail. I am using 7.0.1 patch 6. On a side not I am using a docking station. My laptop screen is acting as a second monitor (but the object list isn't showing on the second monitor either.) so that may be part of the problem too Additional Info: 1. No ... it doesn't show up behind the user tool or on another screen. The object list just simply doesn't show up. I don't see it anywhere. 2. Maybe it is a dual-monitor issue? I have disabled the other monitor and tried that. It doesn't seem to help. I tried both disbling manually and rebooting with the second monitor disabled. Next on the list is undocking my laptop and trying it .... Anyone else have a similar issue or is it just me? It is probably just me ... but it doesn't hurt to ask.
