Why not just lay the .bmp on a button and then display the button as a flat image?

Then, I use a set fields to set the view field = $tmpbanner URL$ In the user tool, if I change from a submit window to a search window and then back to a submit and a search again, then the banner will finally display. It will not display at first like it should. Also, when the banner finally does display, there is a whitespace between the bmp file that it is loading and the top and the left of the view field, even though the view field was smaller than the image it was loading. Does anyone know how to fix the whitespace issue? I have already turned off borders for my view field.
