Did you have any errors farther up in the log? They are stretching 3 core fields in the 7.1 upgrade from a 6.X database. If you have a significant amount of data, that can cause timeouts during the alter table. Also, depending upon the database setup and your compound indices, those expansions may grow beyond your max index length which also causes problems. When you copy all your ARAdmin data, you need to copy all the data from ALL named tables in order for the upgrade to work, you can only leave out user created tables. There are some proprietary, undocumented tables that Remedy uses and must be there. You should have other error messages mentioning them if that is the case, however. -Matt
