Hello Listers, Does anyone have an outline or maybe a white paper that describes the different password settings throughout the Administration Tool?
We had to change the password of the Windows account that runs the services as well as email for our system. There were some strange issues when the server was rebooted, like the email engine did not start processing outgoing mail for over 1 hour. It would be nice if there was an outline describing the passwords use and interaction with each other. Can the Midtier Admin password be different than the Midtier config page password. Should the Application Service Password be the same as the Run as service password and the email password as it is stored in the emaildaemon.properties file. I asked BMC for the same information and I am waiting for a reply. TIA, John J.
