We have a situation where we would like the tasks related to a CR have the ability to move to "closed" during the CR's plan & schedule phase. These are generally research type tasks that occur in preparation for the implementation phase, but often drive the implementation approval decision and/or scheduled dates. An example might be "identify space in the data center" or "research the latest patch level and release date." Any suggestions on how to progress a task during the plan & schedule phase of the change request? We do not want to create a related CR to track the activity...that seems cumbersome to the team.
