Was it just a AR Server 6.3 upgrade to 7.1 Patch 3 or did you upgrade the mid tier too? Is this happenning on all character menu fields? If it is happening only on one, is there any workflow on the selection of a menu that may null the field under certain conditions that may be evaluating true on the new version to fire that piece of workflow?
