MidTier was also upgraded. And it is happening to all Character File type menus (no workflow involved) also it works from the client

Now whenever from web, we try to select a character menu (file type) it show the selections but when a selection is made it does not populate the field. This works from the client side. Web Server is BEA Weblogic 9.2 (also re-created the issue with Sun Application Server 9.1). Tested with IE 6 / 7 and Firefox 3. Any help will be appreciated.
