Unless they are in the People form with an email addresses, the messages
may still generate but they will fail. Otherwise, the filter for this
notification for incidents is: HPD:INC:NTCustConfirm_851_SetTag, so you
could modify it by adding another set fields to clear the message tag
based on whatever criteria specifies them as an external
customer/requestor.

Hope that helps - Thanks,

Lisa

Subject: disabling email generation to the requested for customer

**

Hi,

I have a requirement which says the emails should be generated only
for the people internal to the company and not for customers of the
company. For e.g. in the change mgmt console I want to generate an email
for Requested By customers and not but Email engine by default generates
emails for requested for customers (who are the external customers).
Similarly in the incident form it generates the emails for information
fed in the customer information. How do I turn the feature off for the
external customers. I looked into NTE:CFG Notification Events form to
see if I can disable it from there. I only see options where I can turn
of email generation in the various stages of the workflow or asignment,
ownership etc. I don't see anywhere I can turn off the email generation
for change created for "requestef for (external)" customers?. Similar is
the case for incidents. Thanks.

Thanks
Sivarama
