It is NOT possible to view the help text by positioning the cursor on the field.
There is a button on the User Tool that is a Question mark with an arrow. It is the last button in the button ribbon. Click it and then the Mouse Pointer changes. Click the field in question and you will get it's help. If the field has no help (sadly this is almost always true and is especially true for the OOTB stuff!) you will get a default message based on the field type. The default message is not very useful (eg: "push this button to access a feature of this application") Cheers Ben >----- ------- Original Message ------- ----- >From: :[email protected] >To: [email protected] >Sent: Tue, 9 Sep 2008 13:18:49 > >Hi, > >In the Windows client you can allways turn on >prompt bar >(View->PromptBar->Top/Bottom).
