Is the people record set to Support Staff = Yes?
Only support staff may have roles attached to them.

I'm starting to set up users and have run into a strange situation.
After entering the information for

a user and setting the permissions I wanted to also select roles.
However, the bar at the bottom of

the panel that would allow me to pick roles is greyed out so I can't
select roles. Why would this

happen?  This is a 7.1 ITIL system. Thanks.
