We've installed ARS 7.1 on new application and database hosts and used a
copy the production database to test all functionality.

Now, on the day we actually move to the new hosts we will take a copy of the
database from production which is still 6.3., and put it on the new database
host. Next we will need to upgrade that database to 7.1. In order to do this
I will need to run the 7.1 server install script. However, since this has
already been done on the new ARS hosts I was hoping to find a way to run the
install script to do the database upgrade only, but not copy any files to
the ARS host.

Any clearer?
