We had considered that, but stopped short of trying it. In SQL, for the external table, under "column properties" it says data type = int, length = 4; in the Admin tool, it shows this field with a field length of 15. This is how it's "supposed" to be, and it works this way on other servers, so we've left that setting alone, for now.
I might try changing this to see if it works, but I don't see that this is where the change occurred that is causing our problem. Thank you!
