Just noticed a difference in the problematic database vs. another server
that works:
1. In SQL, right click on the database server (at the top of the tree)
2. Go to "General"
3. Look at "Server Collation".
1. In Production (and on Development) this says
"SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS"
2. In DR and test, which work OK, this says "Latin1_General_CI_AI"
The questions are:
1. Is this difference what's causing the issue
2. Why and how did this change
As far as I can tell this is neither easy nor fun to change back.
