Clearly, if it matters in what order they fire, you should adjust the firing sequence numbers accordingly. However, if two objects have the same execution order, my observations are as follows: On the server that the workflow was developed on, the order will be in the same order that they were created - the older one first. If the workflow is moved to a second server and imported there, the order will be alphabetical (which presumably is the order that they are imported in). This means that the execution order might be different on two servers which can have unexpected results. Finally, with filters you need to bear in mind filter phasing - the above comments only apply to actions executed in the same filter phase.
