I've studied the logs, Column's studied them, and now BMC's had them for a week or so. We can't seem to find the pattern that would lead us to the cause. You copied over all the bin directories (for helpdesk, change, problem, etc. as well as SLM) like the install instructions indicated? What is your OS? I'm running Red Hat Linux.

Have you looked at the crash logs? obviously you have, but any insight? what do they say, any messages? just copying the directories should not crash your server, since these directories do not get used unless your primary server goes down. thanks shafqat --- On Mon, 3/9/09, Ramey, Anne <[email protected]> wrote: > From: Ramey, Anne <[email protected]> > Subject: Re: SLM 7.1 & Server group > To: [email protected] > Date: Monday, March 9, 2009, 7:31 PM > No, the instructions say to install on one and then copy all > the binaries to the secondary.
