Job Title: Remedy Systems Administrator Requisition Number: 53189 Location: Miami, FL 33196 The Remedy Systems Administrator provides technical expertise on one or more applications/or development tools and serves as a technical consultant to system applications group. Incumbent provides technical consulting support on projects or system issues. The individual evaluates, tests, and consults on pilots to ensure that system application meets customer expectations. These individuals analyze existing programs, formulate logic for new systems, devise logic procedures, prepare flow charting, code, document and test/debug programs. They are responsible for the technical implementation and upgrades of major systems, particularly large vendor provided applications. In addition, the Senior Systems Administrator provides technical direction, quality assurance, training and guidance to system application teams. May work on system performance recommendations. The BMC Remedy ITSM Staff Applications Specialist will be responsible for the maintenance, administration and development of the BMC Remedy ITSM 7.x application suite. Responsibilities include the support to end-users of the applications, requirement gathering, planning of changes and enhancement to the applications. The role involves implementing ITIL best practice and Lean techniques to consolidate the current IT processes into a controlled environment. Requirement: B.S. degree is preferred and 3+ years experience. This role will work closely with other Remedy Support team members in building and maintaining the desired solutions needed by the company.
