Here's how you can manually extract the APIs (or binaries, or whatever else) from the AR Linux installer.
- Uncompress ARSuiteKitLinux.tar.gz and extract the tar's contents. - In the resulting directory called ARSuiteKitLinux, navigate to ARSuiteKit/Disk1/InstData. - Expand the Resource1.zip file. - Drill down to the new folder, Resource1, then go to $StagingArea$/arsuitekit/arserver. - Inside this directory, you should find a jar file called linux_zg_ia_sf.jar. Treat this just as you would a tar file. You can either expand the entire jar or extract pieces out of it. Probably of most interest to you would be the api and bin folders. I worked for me -- YMMV. --Tim ________________________________ From: "Grooms, Frederick W" <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Thursday, April 2, 2009 9:30:40 AM Subject: [ARSLIST] API 7.5 Linux Request One of our related applications connects to our Remedy server using ARSPerl. They are looking to move to a new 64bit Linux server. We are currently on ARS 7.1 so all I have is the 32bit libraries. Can anyone send me a tar of the Linux 7.5 API so they can try to add ARSPerl in 64 bit mode? I would normally just pull the API out of the install, but they left the API only option off the 7.5 installer.
