I have, and it wasn't pretty..I don't remember all of the details because the human brain tends to block traumatic events, thankfully. The parts I do remember are that it slowed our development to a crawl because of all of the check in, check out. It quite often didn't have the proper 'who checked this out' listed, merging of branch data in CC was horrific, the constant need to sync my local view with the server to ensure I knew about proper checkouts and checkins was a ROYAL pain...and that's just the stuff I can remember. We ended up writing our own integration that doesn't involve the admin tool.
