Has anyone used variable templates or any other means to get data into a change task? I have configured tasks and a task group and attached that to a Change Template. I would like to get some data from the Change Request into one of the tasks. I have tried using System, Global, and Local Variable Templates to get the data into the Task. The closest I can get is to have the default value of the variable to populate a field on the task. The data is put into the task when it gets assigned.
