I got them to go in, but only after I did the SQL authentication and it took me
more than 4 tries.  So I do know that it works on SQL server and it will run -
with assignment and approval engines.

That being said, in the couple of months since I installed 7.5 I have gotten
feedback that support is just now getting up to speed with some of its more
arcane problems.  And yeah, there are problems.

Subject: 7.5 Approval and Assignment not installing

I am installing AR System 7.5.1 on a Win2003/SQL2005 virtual server with 4GB
RAM.  Tomcat 5.5_27, Java 1.6_13.

The AR System installation says it is successful, and going through all of the
log files, there are no errors or failures.  However, neither the Approval nor
the Assignment engines will install, either as part of the initial install or a
subsequent discrete one.  When I say they don't install, the directories and
files are created on the server, but no forms, workflow, or data are actually
created in the DB, even though the install logs say they are.  I even verified
this in SQL, to be sure I didn't have some stale UT files in the way.

They suggested that I use SQL authentication instead of Windows, but it made no
difference.  Tried with and without Unicode setting, too, FWIW.  Not too many
variables to change.

I have tried this about 4 times.  BMC Support is pulling the old log file
shuffle (asking me for that which I have already sent), so I figure while I am
waiting for something more productive, I will ask you guys if you have seen
this, or have any suggestions.
