Use patch 9005 to install the Data Management Tool. The is a wizard that will
allow you to change the login id in all forms it appears. It will take two
passes to modify since if you only change the case the workflow will give an
error.

Not sure what your environment is but we use an escalation that runs nightly
hat has a SET FIELDS action,
On the Login Name field (& Primary Email field) set the value to LOWER($Login
ame$)

I'm sure you could also do this when the initial records is being saved.

Hope this helps

Regards,
eith.

ubject: Changing case of Login Id

Hi Everyone,

We have some of the login ids in mixed cases, we need to standardize the process
y changing them into lowercase.

One approach, we tried=2
0is to use 'Authentication Login Name' field, but in
urther testing we got some clichés in this approach.

Is there any other way to achieve it.

Neha
