Dwayne,
Try running the installer in a "compatibility mode".
Right click on the *.exe and select properties:
Compatibility (tab)
--> check the "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" check box
then
--> Set the drop down to something that the version of the
installer might know.
(XP, Vista, Win2000 if you need to)
Just a guess, but I expect it will help.
